About Us
The Virtual Motorsport Series was founded in late 2024 by founder and owner James Hough, James had a vision, taking the latest entry on the sim-racing market and turning into an esports competition like had never been seen before.
James has loved Le Mans Ultimate ever since it came out and saw a niche for a high-level esports competition on the platform.
Season One started, with the help of some additions to the staff team, on the 4th of January 2025 and saw just one split, at the time named the 'Pro Series' take to the track to fight for their share of a £1000 prize pot.
During Season One we had to introduce a second split called the 'Contender Series' due to high demand. By the end of these series we had amassed almost 800 subscribers on YouTube, 55,000 views and a growing Discord.
At VMS we are dedicated to fairness, transparency and quality. Both on and off the track. We are believers of being harsh but fair.
Season Two
Season Two has seen the Virtual Motorsport Series expand from two splits to three, a major overhaul of the VMS logos, rules and regulations and league structure meaning that the promotion system in place since Season One now means more than ever.
We are also incredibly grateful to have expanded our prize pool to cover all three splits within the Pro Series and Contender Series by bringing in new sponsorship by Coach Dave Delta and The SimGrid alongside our existing partner BPTuning. These incredible sponsors have allowed us to offer a greater spread and variety of prizes to drivers across all three splits that will be taking to the track in Season Two of the Virtual Motorsport Series.
